Naplan
The National Assessment Program — Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is a nation-wide, standardized test for children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 which covers writing, spelling, grammar, reading and numeracy skills.
Governments, schools, instructors, and educational institutions utilize NAPLAN to see if Australian students have the core literacy and numeracy abilities they need to succeed in higher education. It gives an indicator of how well pupils are performing in school and where they might improve. It also reveals which abilities pupils are having difficulty with and which skills require additional assistance.
